eTwinning Plus Contact Seminar

On September 26-29 "eTwinnning Plus Contact seminar" was held in Krakow, Poland. Representatives of European countries, such as Germany, United Kingdom, France, Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic shared their experience on working in eTwinning and gave useful recommendations on successful implementation of eTwinning projects to the teachers from eTwinning Plus countries. Azerbaijan was represented by the member of Partner Support Agency Khuraman Mammadova and two teachers who are actively involved in eTwinning Plus since it started in Azerbaijan. Ruhiyya Mahmudova (English language teacher at the secondary school #1 of Ismayilli city) and Aynur Huseynova (English language teacher at the Lyceum named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva) actively joined discussions and sessions of the seminar. Here is what Ruhiyya Mahmudova shared with us about the Seminar: "For me, as a new member of eTwinning Plus family, it was a path leading to extensive cooperation, successful projects and new ideas. The main goal of this seminar was to create a space for the exchange of ideas and experiences, getting valuable advice from European partners and founders of successful projects, international experts, and communicating with new partner in order to launch new and interesting projects. I believe that the knowledge gained during the seminar will help me a lot to implement successful projects together with my pupils."

The other participant of the seminar, Aynur Huseynova highlighted the usefulness of the seminar for new participants of eTwinning Plus. She mentioned that she had a chance to meet schoolteachers from 6 European countries and representatives of National Support Services (NSS), watched presentations of successful and award-winning projects and enriched her understanding of eTwinning project with recommendations and tips of experienced eTwinnners. Besides that, Aynur Huseynova stressed acquiring knowledge on useful and interesting internet resources during practical workshop sessions within the Seminar.

The Seminar was the first face-to-face meeting and gave our teachers the opportunity to start very successful collaborations within eTwinning. This cooperation will expand and grow and will definitely continue online through eTwinning Plus platform!
