On September 26-29 "eTwinnning Plus Contact seminar" was held in Krakow, Poland. Representatives of European countries, such as Germany, United Kingdom, France, Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic shared their experience on working in eTwinning and gave useful recommendations on successful implementation of eTwinning projects to the teachers from eTwinning Plus countries. Azerbaijan has become part of the eTwinning Plus project since January 2013, funded by the European Commission. The initiative is implemented and coordinated by Madad Azerbaijan in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The project aims to promote collaboration among the secondary schools in Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia with their counterparts in 33 European countries through joint educational projects using a unique online platform. In June and August meetings were held to present the eTwinning Plus project to the selected schools and to show teachers and school staff the opportunities that the project opens for them. Representatives from 10 schools participated in the first meeting in July. On August 26th, teachers and administrative staff of six schools got familiar with the eTwinning Plus project. As we know, since 2013, Azerbaijan participates in the international eTwinning Plus project. The project implementation phase in Azerbaijan started in summer. Three meetings were held to introduce eTwinning Plus project to the school principals and teachers. The project's new website and facebook page was launched in order to provide the updates and news on the implementation of eTwinning Plus in Azerbaijan. Madad Azerbaijan conducted rigorous interviews to select enthusiastic teachers for participation in the project.
